Hibernate at this beautiful house before experiencing the natural wonders of Hepburn Springs, Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges.

This home, located in the heart of town, is nothing short of spectacular. Three balconies offer a choice of breathtaking views over Doctors Gully and the surrounding wilderness. At the rear of the house, the largest deck overlooks the horizon and is the ideal space for hosting a relaxed BBQ dinner. Head upstairs where another balcony offers elevated views over the Gully and is a great spot for enjoying a few sundowners. When you’re ready for some alone time, sink into the stylish, freestanding stone bath and mull over what an excellent holiday you’re having. We love this house for its versatility. It provides quality spaces for families or groups to spend time together while the upstairs retreat is the kind of peaceful, secluded space that allows you to completely disconnect.

When you wake from hibernation you’ll be just minutes away from Hepburn Springs’ cosy cafes. Red Star Café on the corner of Tenth and Main makes one of the best coffees in town. Start your day here before riding away on the quiet, picturesque roads and cycling trails to Daylesford. Get on foot for a scenic stroll through the rolling countryside or hike the Tipperary walking track past disused goldfields and mineral springs.

There is something for everyone in this region, but for most visitors a trip to Australia’s spa capital isn’t complete without some serious pampering. Soak in the therapeutic waters of the natural mineral springs before indulging yourself with massages, spa treatments and a range of alternative therapies to cure any affliction.

Whether it’s a day of activity or leisure, there’s a good chance you won’t feel like cooking, and nor should you have to. Main Road’s collection of restaurants has you covered from take away to gourmet. If you’re looking for a bit of fun head to the Old Hepburn Hotel to catch some live music or to chin wag at the bar with friendly locals. No matter how you spend your time here, at the end of the day you can simply float back to Hibernate.
