This waterfront mansion (because ‘home’ doesn’t seem to accurately describe it) is the pinnacle of luxury waterfront living, and is so grand it may even render first-time guests momentarily speechless.

The wow-worthy first impressions start the moment you step out of the car. A series of travertine platforms snake across fishpond, surrounded by lush tropical garden, encouraging guests to leave any thought of home life behind as they enter the world of The Peninsula.  Push open the massive timber door and walk inside – taking a moment or two to pick your jaw up off the floor.

What awaits is a resort-style retreat: gleaming polished tiles, neutral-hued décor and striking artwork. Look past the sophisticated lounge and marvellous chef’s kitchen (though both spaces will no doubt be put to good use during your stay) and let your attention be stolen by the incredible view across the Noosa canal.
