Luxury, Romantic and Boutique Accommodation in Noosa

There's more to this glamorous resort town than its good looks.
Noosa is a coastal playground with luxury accommodation

Striking national parks, a thriving arts scene and top-notch food and wine – there’s much more to Noosa than just beautiful beaches (but it has plenty of those, too). Only a 90-minute drive of Brisbane on the Sunshine Coast, Noosa teams a laidback beach vibe with luxury accommodation and a touch of jet-set glamour.

Much of the action is centred around the beachside village of Noosa Heads and its main drag, Hastings Street, a hive of trendy boutiques, laid-back cafes and al fresco restaurants. It’s also just a short hop from here to Noosa National Park. This is Queensland's most popular national park and is one of the jewels in Noosa's crown. It covers more than 4000 hectares, with kilometres of walking paths and sandy tracks. Top areas to visit are Devils Kitchen (a rocky headland outcrop that isn't nearly as scary as it sounds), Granite Bay and Hells Gates. Make time for a walk along the Coastal Track before returning to the Noosa Surf Club for sundowners on the deck overlooking the main beach.

Swap your walking shoes for snorkels as you dive into Noosa's famously blue waters. Just beyond Noosa Heads is a reef system waiting to be explored, or divers can discover the wreckage of HMAS Brisbane. If flippers aren't your fancy, try fishing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, sailing or surfing. For something slower-paced still, perhaps a fruity drink on the balcony of your Noosa accommodation...

In May each year, the area becomes a gourmand’s paradise with the Noosa Food & Wine festival, where some of Australia’s best chefs showcase the abundant local produce in a diverse series of events. Equally varied is the wide range of accommodation on offer in Noosa, from luxe 5-star resorts to beachside cottages and cabins.
