All deposits and payments are not refundable. We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the services you asked for. Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats strongly recommends that you obtain travel insurance and will not be held responsible for costs loss of deposits and payments made or other fees incurred due to cancellations resulting from unforeseen circumstances, medical conditions or changes to travel plans. If you need to change your booking for any reason given 30+ days notice you can however transfer your booking to new dates or transfer them to other nominated guests. For peak season bookings 60+ days notice is required. Please note once a property is booked and a deposit paid we cannot transfer your booking to another property. Funds paid are held in a trust account; a receipt is given but we do not issue invoices. Cancellations within 30 days (60 days for peak bookings) require full payment of accommodation and services booked. A Security Authority (Guest Registration Form) is required prior to arrival, which needs to be completed signed and returned to us before entry to the property. A valid credit card in the guests name or deposited funds of $1000.00 are required as a security deposit. For some properties where guest numbers are larger a higher security deposit is required. It is the responsibility of the guest named in the booking confirmation to ensure all guests and visitors are aware of the terms and conditions.
