Bremer Island Banubanu Beach Retreat
- 1-2 Guests
- 1 Bedrooms
- 1-2 Beds
With a maximum of eight guests, it is easy to see why Bremer Island Banubanu Beach Retreat opens a door into a culture and country that few will ever see. Usually just one party is accommodated at a time, which makes this experience all the more special and personal.
Located on Bremer Island - off the coast of Arnhem Land - this rustic camp offers cultural encounters with the local Aboriginal people, awe-inspiring fishing and the chance to simply kick back and enjoy the island's natural wonders. Guests stay in well-appointed tents and the rate includes all meals while on the island.
The central lounge/dining area is straight from the pages of Robinson Crusoe's journal. Banubanu is at the northern tip of the island, and it's not unusual for turtles to nest on the beach right in front of the camp. Beachcomb by day, stargaze by night and let the hours drift by with languid disregard.
It's little wonder that previous guests have described this as a magical life experience. You won't find this in the pages of glossy travel brochures, so broaden your horizons and book your turn in this Top End nirvana.
