Guests stay in well-appointed tents and the rate includes all meals while on the island.

The central lounge/dining area is straight from the pages of Robinson Crusoe's journal. Banubanu is at the northern tip of the island, and it's not unusual for turtles to nest on the beach right in front of the camp. Beachcomb by day, stargaze by night and let the hours drift by with languid disregard.

Cancellation policy

All bookings made on Beautiful Accommodation are subject to a cancellation fee of 12.5% (of the total transaction value), in addition to the existing cancellation policy of the property:

Notice of cancellation must be received in writing by letter or email. 10-30 days prior: 20% of total cost of tour. 4-9 days prior: 80% of total cost of tour. 3 days or less: 100% of total cost of tour. In the event that Banubanu has to cancel, they will make full refund as soon as possible. All amounts are quoted in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax). Banubanu reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or cultural reasons. Banubanu accepts no responsibility for any loss of property or damage to property. Banubanu will not be held accountable for any personal injury or illness to the client during the course of your stay at Banubanu Wilderness Retreat. Banubanu recommends that all clients take out adequate travellers insurance to cover: costs arising from their cancellation of a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, loss and damage to property, personal injury and illness. Before departing on the program you will be required to read and sign the Banubanu Wilderness Retreat Indemnity form. You can download a copy of the form from our website. We think it is a good idea to read it thoroughly beforehand. By booking the program, you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to these conditions.
