Paul Bangay The Farmhouse

The brainchild of Paul Bangay – leading Australian landscape artist and author of several books on the subject – The Farmhouse is the point where nature and style intersect. Set in the rolling countryside between Kyneton and Daylesford, this place is perfect for a romantic retreat or a relaxed break away from it all.
When you arrive, the first thing to impress is of course the beautifully landscaped surround. The Farmhouse is nestled just back from the well-known house and gardens of Stonefields, Paul’s main residence, and these once stark paddocks have been transformed into truly magical spaces to explore. But before you do, step inside and get acquainted with your holiday haven.
The interiors are distinctly French provincial in style; a selection of furniture and collectibles thoughtfully pieced together to result in a charming character about the space. The spacious living area has plenty of plush spots to relax, and you can enjoy the gorgeous scenery while you do. In summer, swing open the double doors to let the country air float through, and in winter, get lost in the view through tall glass panes. Pick your favourite spot, and get settled in with your spread of regional treats.
If you manage to make it further than the lush fields all around, cellar doors, cosy cafés, incredible restaurants and farmers markets wait. So what are you waiting for? Soak up your taste of the good life, courtesy of Paul Bangay.
