If you crave space and light for your next central Melbourne stay, then Honey Apartments are the bee’s knees. Right in the heart of the CBD, these two beautifully renovated apartments make the most of the building’s original Art Deco features, including high ceilings and walls of glass, but with all the necessary contemporary accoutrements. 

The feeling is of having your own city bolthole and we felt very smug at the thought of having so much space to ourselves rather than the usual small city hotel rooms. There are two apartments to choose from, each with two bedrooms and a full kitchen. If you need a bit of extra space, choose the corner apartment, which is the larger of the two and also has an extra single bed. Both apartments have double-glazing, so a peaceful sleep is assured. Then there’s the quirky and eclectic original artworks adoring the walls, some of which are owner Kirstin Honey’s own works, including edgy photography and canvases. 

And the location could not be better. Crown Casino, Southbank and the Exhibition Centre are about 100m down Queen Street, while the hidden laneways and retail options of Melbourne’s heart are an easy stroll away. Restaurant, sports and theatre options abound, all within walking distance or a tram-ride away.

Cancellation policy

Booking terms and conditions. Tariffs are current and are subject to change without notice. In the event of a tariff increase bookings confirmed by deposit will be honoured at the prevailing tariff at the time of booking. To secure your booking a deposit of 50% of the total sum booked is required. The balance of monies is due before arrival via the internet or upon arrival at check in in the form of cash, Australian personal cheque or bank draft. Kirstin Honey is the sole booking agent for Honey Apartments. Any bookings taken via other people will not be honoured. If in doubt please call Kirstin on +61416045745 to speak to her directly. In the event of a tenant cancellation for any reason whatsoever it should be a condition that no refund of any deposit shall be made unless and until the premises are re-let for the full rental of the proposed occupancy. If you booked via an online portal you will need to refer to the cancellation policies as dictated on their website. The apartment and entire building is a non smoking environment. Smoking is only possible on the public footpath away from the building entry. No animals are permitted in the apartment or building as it is against the body corporate regulations. It is not possible to have the phone connected during your stay. Our accommodation is for residential purposes only. Functions or parties are strictly prohibited. It is a legal requirement to provide the name of all people staying in the apartment during the occupied time as dictated by the body corporate in accordance with fire regulations. The quoted price of your stay includes an average daily usage of AUD$10 of power (approximately 35kwh/day more than twice the average consumption of a two-bedroom house). If you use power over this amount the excess amount will be deducted from your security deposit. 

CANCELLATIONS In the event of a tenant cancellation for any reason whatsoever it should be a condition that a 90% refund will be issued up until 30 days before arrival 50% refund up until 7 days before arrival and 0% refund if cancelled in the 7 days before arrival. NON SMOKING The apartment and entire building is a non smoking environment. Smoking is only possible on the public footpath away from the building entry. ANIMALS No animals are permitted in the apartment or building as it is against the Body Corporate Regulations. TELEPHONES It is not possible to have the phone connected during your stay. FUNCTIONS Our accommodation is for residential purposes only. Functions or parties are strictly prohibited. OCCUPANTS It is a legal requirement to provide the name of ALL people staying in the apartment during the occupied time as dictated by the body corporate in accordance with fire regulations. Maximum occupancy applies to children and infants. A maximum of 1 infant per apartment applies. POWER The quoted price of your stay includes a average daily usage of AUD$10 of power (Approximately 35kwh/day more than twice the average consumption of a 2 bedroom house). If you use power over this amount the excess amount will be deducted from your security deposit. DAMAGES All damages or loss of Honey Apartment property during your stay will be billed to the person who booked. This includes but is not limited to all items within the apartment adjoining apartments and keys. Please note as security is of such a high precedence to Honey Apartments if you loose any of the keys you will be charged for the cost incurred to change the locks. CLEANING The apartment should be left in a reasonable manner when you leave close to the state when you arrived. If cleaning in excess of 3 hours is required after your departure this will be deducted from the security deposit at a rate of AUD$50 per hour. INTERNET Unlimited Wi-Fi Internet is included
