This impressive beach house is set on four acres and will first catch your eye for its sumptuous look and interior style.
The flowing living areas are the work of light, skilful design and are decorated in contemporary tones that highlight the impressive art collection. But you soon feel what the real attraction is at Ionise: the gorgeous architecture acts a conduit for the surrounding nature, conducting its beauty indoors. A family of kangaroos wander past, cheeky kookaburras laugh from the dense bushland, and sea breezes waft through the house, animating the silk curtains and soothing your soul.
After a day at one of the nearby beaches, return to Ionise, cool down under the outdoor shower, open a bottle of Margaret River wine and stretch out on the deck. In winter, curl up in front of the wood fire and relax – there is no need to rush. Nature will soon slow you down.
