This must be the perfect base for exploring the Yarra Valley. Mere minutes from the Healesville Sanctuary wildlife park, close to the Yarra Valley's wine region, and just near Healesville's burgeoning gourmet scene, Susan's in the Valley is a luxurious retreat that borders on the decadent.
The large, strikingly modern, purpose-built residence is set in two acres of gardens. Huge windows provide fabulous mountain views and plenty of light. There is a large sitting room furnished in French empire style and a formal dining room where sumptuous four-course meals are available on request. You can relax on the extensive terraces (complete with bar) or swim in the stylish heated swimming pool.
Guests can choose between five well appointed suites with queen beds, air-conditioning, balcony, phone and internet access. In the morning, enjoy a lavish spread in the breakfast room before setting out to explore the region.
