Well, since we last visited, the Hearns have added a sensational three-bedroom villa to their collection and with space, luxury and seaside ambience, it really is icing on the cake. It's L-shaped to make the most of the beach views, has extensive decking, is clothed in golden hues and will give groups and families a stylish beach holiday to remember.
The other villas are just as spectacular, offering an unbeatable combination of sleek design, natural finishes (we love the combination of exotic timber floors, sisal and  limestone flowing out onto the timber decks) and a layout that ensures privacy while still providing stunning ocean views. These are perfect for couples: nothing could be more romantic than wandering the beach, ordering in a seafood platter then falling asleep to the murmur of waves on the sand.
Location: 2.5 km west of Port Fairy. 290km or 3.5 hours southwest of Melbourne. Melway 926 C8. HEMA RA 44 H5.
Facilities: Seven villas each with king bed, double spa bath, dining/lounge (TV, DVD, CD, kitchenette, private courtyard (BBQ), seafront deck.
