The estate is set high on a hill on rolling farmland that is home to wedge-tailed eagles and cute wallabies. But it is the views that stopped us in our tracks – down to the great Southern Ocean – plus the must-see Twelve Apostles are easily reached from this fabulous farmhouse B&B. Then there's the welcome from hosts Lynne and Neil, who have made Arabella a superior B&B experience. Lynne loves cooking and mainly uses local products for her lamb, beef and seafood menus (make sure you pre-order). We guarantee that the country-cooked Australian breakfasts will sate any appetite.
The modern home has its own guest wing with a private entry and four ensuite rooms (one with a spa). All are spacious, comfortably equipped and a glance out the window will tell you that a good, quiet night's sleep is coming. The huge lounge and smaller sitting room call you to relax and enjoy a home-cooked afternoon tea on arrival or take coffee, tea, port or chocolates at any time. That's true Aussie hospitality.
