Reflections Cottage, with its formed-earth walls, seclusion and roomy interior, has to be the pick – it has views of Mount Bogong through picture windows (and from the double spa), a log fire and a private garden (with pizza oven). There's also the romantic Studio Apartment with its ensuite spa and log fire – the perfect spot to snuggle up – or you can luxuriate in the main dwelling's spa-equipped bedrooms.
Host Isla MacLeod's magnificent breakfasts (try pancakes with caramelised bananas or
porridge with panache) will set you up for High Country activities and you can book in for a sumptuous dinner.
