Mornings at Marwood are breathtaking. Five-star villas and pavilions crest around an ornamental lake, with the towering Grampians providing the backdrop to this peaceful glen. Mists roll along the lawns, lifting upward as the sun warms the scene. Birds abound, just one of the many sounds of an awakening bush.
Each villa has a spa flanked by Doric columns, a dreamy wrought-iron bed and a lounge area with open fire. There is even a full kitchen, though with the splendid breakfast (in your villa or the restaurant) and the not-to-be-missed dining experience, the most you'll probably use are the champagne glasses.
The two water pavilions feature a rivulet flowing through each suite, a gesture that 
mirrors the many crystalline streams you'll see on your walks through the neighbouring National Park. As the sun sets, thoughts of a romantic dinner in Marwood's restaurant beckon. In winter, a fire crackles and soft music underscores an elegant yet relaxed dining experience. In summer, enjoy a cocktail on the patio overlooking the lake, as the remarkable mountain ridges blush red with the setting sun.
