The distinctive Boroka Downs retreats are a tribute to hosts Ron and Jo Payne's determination to provide the very best appointments and world-class accommodation. Spacious, modern and luxurious, each has been carefully positioned for privacy and superb views of the Grampians.
In some ways, these are a modern interpretation of the classic bush hut. There's a verandah for shade, a wood fire and kitchen, and gum trees and kangaroos galore – but there the similarity ends. Avant-garde architecture features soaring ceilings in the living areas with plenty of glass and light, and the king-size bedrooms and double spas take modern decadence to another level.
This is a place for couples to relax in utter style and comfort, away from their urban worries – the property has 306 acres of grazing and bush land – but with all the civilised facilities.
