If you are a Harry Potter fan you will love the spellbinding retreat of Mira Mira near the aptly named locality of Crossover in the foothills of the Baw Baw Ranges. To cross over into this other world, whose creators have let their artistic imagination run riot, you enter a gate guarded by a gigantic dragon and make your way to your chosen fantasy cottage.
Descend into The Cave House through the doorway mouth of Magog, down fire-lit steps to be enfolded by Mother Earth, looking out towards the mountains through picture windows cut into the hillside. The colourful Japanese Zen House, inspired by Kyoto Palace, overlooks a tranquil pond at the foot of a gully. Tanglewood is for those who like to be close to nature: a residential sculpture with a treetop balcony that bears the influence of the great Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi.
 If you're thinking of a wedding or party, there's even more: the renaissance-style Great Hall and baroque chapel, the medieval-themed dining hall of The Vault, the digital-tech wizardry of The Dome, and the Priory garden. Pure magic.
