Funky, fabulous and fun describe Minnies B&B and the out-there fabric and furniture designed by owner Mandy Rowe under her label Hot Art. And Mandy's design creativity is given full throttle in this purpose-built retreat on a 10-hectare farm just a few minutes drive from Sale.
It's not just the furnishings that will grab your attention – we love the idea that you can book either one of the two ensuite bedrooms or, for a special occasion, the whole house with the option of a gourmet dinner by the fireside or on the deck under the stars.
The mood of the Green Room is vivaciously modern, with vibrant splashes of lime green and burnt orange leaping out from cushions, upholstered headboards and bedside
lamps, against a back-ground of black drapes. The Rose Room has a more romantic, feminine ambience, with an eclectic mix of fabrics, designer lighting and a gilded French bedhead. Both rooms have large bathrooms fitted out with European flair. Mandy's artistry is also expressed in the spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas which flow onto the north-facing deck.
