Bayview House sits in a lovely three-acre native garden on a gentle slope with a glorious view over Shallow Inlet to the bush-clad peaks of Wilsons Promontory. It's a delight to relax on the verandah and catch the changing colours of sea, sky and mountains, accompanied by abundant bird life and the occasional koala, wombat or echidna.
Then there's the hospitality of your much-travelled hosts, the colourful and funky decor of your comfortable accommodation, the wonderful coffee and European pancakes. Bayview House offers the choice of a downstairs double bedroom, an upstairs open studio with bedroom, lounge and kitchenette, and a balcony suite with double bedroom, single bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. Ellen can provide delicious breakfasts with home-baked bread and fresh eggs from her own chook brigade, and Paul's Sunday pancake brunch is very special.
 For swimming, wind surfing or walking, Waratah Bay beach is not far down the hill, and all the attractions of Wilsons Promontory – Victoria's premier national park on the southern coast – call for exploration and enjoyment, be it for swimming, surfing, sight-seeing or bush walking.
