The Riverina region is blessed with beautiful sunshine for most of the year, and the Echuca Moama River Resort makes the very most of this enviable situation. Each of the villas in this mini-village offers indoor/outdoor living with casual decks overlooking the pool or back towards the Murray River. And with 13 acres of riverfront land, there's plenty of space to spread out. Plonk yourself by the river with a book and a drink, and you could be Huckleberry Finn taking a day off school.
Owners Michael and Paula Aquino sculpted the resort from what was once a farm (the shearing shed is now a games room, and the corrugated iron-covered barbecue area by the river is pure country) and provide guests with seriously luxurious villas featuring minimalist décor, widescreen TVs, gourmet kitchens, vast living spaces 
and casual colours.
With an incredible pool featuring two cave spas, a tennis court and a fabulous playground, this is the perfect resort for kids of all ages (and that includes adults). Just across the river is the Port of Echuca and the area's many attractions including boating, fishing and golf are close by.
