Perricoota Vines Retreat is a welcome find. In an area renowned for its fine weather, it is well worth the lovely drive from Melbourne to reach these charming villas, which are surrounded by picturesque vineyards and close to the Murray River. Perricoota's resort-like facilities include a pool, tennis court and kiddies' playground. Nearby there are wineries, golf clubs and the historic port of Echuca.
The villas are enchanting – our favourites are the willow-draped, two-bedroom waterfront villas with their own BBQ deck over the water. The other villas have gorgeous views across vineyards or the landscaped grounds. All have beautiful interiors showcasing recycled timbers, colourful furnishings, soaring ceilings to let in lots of light (there's air-conditioning as well), plus
a separate spa room for indulging in a private soak. The peaceful ambience of Perricoota is perfect for groups, couples or families that want to enjoy this part of the Murray. And with such beautiful gardens and group facilities, Perricoota is perfect for weddings and conferences.
