King Tide Townhouse is great for couples or friends travelling together but it is perfect for a family holiday at any time of the year. Host Christine says: “We don't just accept young children, we do everything we can to make them happy, and that makes the parents happy too.''
The child-friendly facilities include a second living room with TV, more than 100 DVDs and videos, books, games and puzzles. And in the garage you'll find surf boards and other beach equipment, golf clubs, trikes and fishing gear. Parents, grandparents (or two couples) and a pair of kids all fit in comfortably. The modern townhouse, enclosed by a high brush fence for privacy and safety, is spacious and sunny, and you can hear the rolling surf from the courtyard deck, which is great for outdoor entertainment and barbecues.
An easy 300 paces brings you to Ocean Grove's patrolled surf beach. Fishing, golf, nature walks, parks, shops and  restaurants are between one and 10 minutes away, and it's only a 15- minute drive to historic Queenscliff (for bayside swimming) and bright and breezy Point Lonsdale.
