This was the first bluestone residence in Ballarat and the only one still standing: now it is a lavishly luxurious retreat for couples.
The combination of period simplicity and modern extravagance is extraordinary. There are gleaming timber and solid flagstones floors, refined French provincial furniture, and the kitchen's cool, clean lines invite you to enjoy the espresso machine with 12 types of coffee provided.
