We've always been big fans of Points South's two seaside cottages. Perhaps it's the location, just across the road from crashing surf and with idyllic views of the sea. Or maybe it's the cottages themselves – with big windows, ocean-view decks and stone-clad fireplaces they are the perfect blend of beachside breeziness and country warmth.
But the big news is that with new owners, Points South now offers another alluring option. Farther up the hill and with even more sweeping views of Bass Strait is the large, luxurious and stunningly contemporary house available as a self-contained whole. It boasts three ensuite king bedrooms, a living area surrounded by glass (including a huge sliding door leading to one of the outdoor decks) and a fabulous cooks' kitchen.
 Either of the cottages or the hilltop house is perfect for a beachside holiday with the Great Ocean Road at your doorstep, Apollo Bay just down the road, and all the space in the world to enjoy a luxurious stay.
