The Otway Ranges roll down to the ocean for most of the way along the Great Ocean Road. Near Apollo Bay, the hills are clad in temperate rainforest and emerald fields, revealing jaw-dropping panoramas of the coastline. It's here that you find the very aptly named A Room With a View.
Actually, there are three suites and all have floor-to-ceiling windows to make the most of the magnificent views, whether from the sitting area, bedroom or even the double storey suite's two-person spa. Architect designed for space, comfort and luxury, each is characterised by warm timber finishes, cool country colours and numerous convenient features. Each has its own deck to enjoy alfresco dining and lounging, especially for those who don't want to leave for Apollo Bay's many cafes and restaurants.
 The property is blessed with abundant bird life, so when Angelika delivers your breakfast – which could vary from chocolate croissants to a brilliant fruit risotto – chances are the king parrots and rosellas will drop in for a look. There are also koalas, wallabies and two resident horses, so there's plenty to see and do on-site, or head off for the many sights of the Great Ocean Road.
