Tucked into the lush hills of the Huon Valley this historic shipwright's house is part Swiss Alp retreat, part country manor and a totally enchanting experience. Tasmania's clean air, pure waters and magical snowy winters add to Fair Light's fairytale mystery.
The elegant homestead is the epitome of style. Special touches are everywhere: fresh flowers, white wicker patio furniture and high-quality linens. Rich timber floors and local artworks are featured throughout, and a decadent bathroom with checkerboard tiling and a claw-foot bath is a tempting evening option. With its sun-drenched interior and French windows, the cosy sunroom is the perfect spot to disappear with a good book. The verandahs offer incredible views over the gardens and sparkling river.
 In the mornings the bay is a picture of mystical beauty; simple wooden boats bobbing on the gentle waters with the sun rising above the mountains. Fair Light is a delightful escape; unwind in the elegant homestead or venture over to the sweetly named Peppermint Bay or nearby Bruny Island for some exceptional sightseeing experiences.
