But that is exactly what Beachside Retreat offers: a place to unwind, where you can gather oysters for lunch, watch the waves roll in or top up your tan on the beautiful beach.
And this collection of award-winning and stunningly situated cabins just gets better every time we visit. Of course, we have always loved the eco-cabins with their furnishings by local artists and nautical themes (the round windows remind us of giant portholes and perfectly frame Stanley's famous Nut). New to the collection are two aptly named Luxury Nature Cabins, which feature glorious ocean views and one even has its own private spa pool set in the sand dunes.
 Whichever you choose, each cabin has been designed to blend with the beachfront environment and offers a true eco-experience without sacrificing the creature comforts. For added excitement, take a helicopter flight from Beachside's own grassy landing pad.
