Set on a sandy rise just a lazy walk away from Long Beach, The Pelican Shed is positioned to catch the sea breezes. This is a true, kick-off-your shoes beach house – light and airy, with a very relaxed feel.
The focal point is a large, open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, with glass windows on either side – the light and space are sensational. To one side, a generous balcony offers views over Brim Lake (where the pelicans come in to land) and is braced by bushy plantings that attract the bird life. On the other side is a sheltered garden. Careful thought has been given to comfortably accommodating a tribe – there is plenty of lounge space, a family dining table and a large kitchen for guests to cook up a storm in. Four bedrooms make this the perfect choice for a sprawling family 
or a group of friends.
From The Pelican Shed, you can walk to the beach to swim or surf. Or, if a big brekkie in town is what you need, it is an easy walk into Robe along the beach cliffs – an invigorating start to the day.
