Ann's Place is a perennial pick with our readers, and it is easy to see why. Ann and George Murphy are consummate hosts whose love of hospitality and more than forty years in tourism enable them to provide a special experience for guests.
This is the sort of hosted visit that we admire: each guest suite offers complete privacy, allowing you to come and go as you please. But the hosts are there to ensure you garner the very best from your stay in historic Robe. Our favourite suite has a deck facing the bay, but all are notable for their space and refreshing style. Breakfast is an event, with guests enjoying intimate tables for two or four as they tuck into indulgent feasts of local smoked bacon or grilled fish – fresh from the local fishermen. The views from the dining room over Guichen Bay and Boat Harbour are very photogenic.
Enjoy your days exploring the region, checking out Robe's village shops and historic sights or fossicking on the beach, then return to relax in the new addition to Ann's Place – the garden gazebo surrounded by George's roses – before strolling to one of Robe's nearby restaurants for dinner.
