The good news is that you can now stay on the Boatel and not worry about getting about – a recent innovation is the ability to hire Boatel at its luxury mooring and simply soak up river life without moving. Of course, the option to take boatel and cruise the river is also available, so guests can choose the option that suits them best.
There is simply no more luxurious way to ply the beautiful waters of the Murray than the River Dream Boatel. If the thought of hiring the average, style-challenged houseboat has put you off, then you must try the Boatel. Upstairs, under a canopy of glass, an open plan lounge, gourmet kitchen and dining area flow through to a spacious deck. The idea is to meld the joys of captaining the boat (very easy), preparing gourmet meals and entertaining guests into one experience. In other boats, social interaction is usually inhibited 
by unworkable spaces.
The brilliance of the Boatel's design is that it overcomes this – with style. Forget pokey rooms and plastic bathrooms. The five guest suites truly deserve the word luxury, with floor-to-ceiling windows, crisp linen and marble ensuites.
