Located on a ridge overlooking the gorgeous Brisbane Valley, Sketches Mountain Resort has beautifully maintained gardens and is surrounded by natural bushland. In this parkland setting, a range of cottages are scattered well apart from each other; no two are alike and each offers a special place to stay for a relaxing getaway, whether for couples, a family or a even a large group for a conference.
Accommodation ranges from romantic one-bedroom cottages in the treetops to luxurious three-bedroom, lodge-style hermitages. Each has something special to recommend it – whether it is a Swedish-style sauna, a patio hot tub, a deep relaxing spa bath or a quirky indoor waterfall. All have verandahs for viewing the star-studded sky at night or for chilling out to the sounds of nature. Nearby attractions include lakes for fishing, Ravensbourne National Park for excellent bird watching and for horse riders there are some brilliant trail-riding opportunities.
