Located on a ridge overlooking the gorgeous Brisbane Valley, Sketches Mountain Resort has beautifully maintained gardens and is surrounded by natural bushland. In this parkland setting, a range of cottages are scattered well apart from each other; no two are alike and each offers a special place to stay for a relaxing getaway, whether for couples, a family or a even a large group for a conference.
Accommodation ranges from romantic one-bedroom cottages in the treetops to luxurious three-bedroom, lodge-style hermitages. Each has something special to recommend it – whether it is a Swedish-style sauna, a patio hot tub, a deep relaxing spa bath or a quirky indoor waterfall. All have verandahs for viewing the star-studded sky at night or for chilling out to the sounds of nature. The function and conference facilities along with the choice of lodgings make the property a great option for a special wedding day or corporate seminar.
 The facilities are wonderful and varied, with a challenging golf course, tennis courts, a restaurant and a cafe. Nearby attractions include lakes for fishing, Ravensbourne National Park for excellent bird watching and for horse riders there are some brilliant trail-riding opportunities.
