The Spotted Chook Ferme Auberge delivers everything its fun French name promises. The newly completed Amelie's Petite Maison has just opened up for bookings and is a self-contained cottage on the grounds of the main property. This gem is a French-country showpiece with elegant chandeliers and rustic hand-painted furniture.

The colourful in-house guest rooms are generous in size and each has a unique feel with endearing names to suit: Snow Pea, Guilded, Buttercup and Loft. Rich paint washes, open fires and valley views all add to the romantic countryside appeal of this beautiful property. Hosts Jane and Leeroy were inspired by the exceptional inns they found in rural France and have successfully recreated the sublime union of unique accommodation and fine food.
