We were simply bowled over by the sheer luxury and meticulous attention to detail at the desirable House of Willow and you will be too. Built and owned by Geoff and Julie Parmenter – who also own On The Inlet, Port Douglas's only waterfront seafood restaurant – these two villas embody tropical comfort and chic. Close to Four Mile Beach and Macrossan Street, the location is superb.
Clever architectural design has blessed each villa's three large and elegant ensuite bedrooms with a real sense of privacy from one another. The indoor/outdoor dining pavilion is an absolute showstopper, with timber louvred doors that open onto a pool and landscaped garden. Flawless interior decor and vibrant local artworks combine to create the House of Willow's captivating ambience.
House of Willow offers an impressively equipped kitchen but why not relax and treat
yourselves to a gourmet seafood feast at On The Inlet' Look out for one of Geoff and Julie's unique customers – gigantic George the Groper who lives under the restaurant's pontoon. We reckon even George is a little miffed he's not staying at the House of Willow. Location: 67km or one hour north of Cairns. RA 14 B3.
