Adam and Eve would feel right back at home in the natural beauty of Eden Escape's secluded, romantic setting. Nuzzled into the bordering hills of the world-famous Daintree National Park, this charming retreat has been hand built from stone and timber, achieving a perfect balance with its ancient rainforest surrounds. Your only neighbours will be the singing birds, dancing butterflies and other native Australian wildlife that share this unspoilt paradise.
Eden Escape effectively combines modern comfort with eco-sensitive design. The cottage is solar powered and naturally air-conditioned by gentle breezes from the Coral Sea, which can be seen rippling in the distance from the attic bedroom. Downstairs, a huge open-plan layout incorporates a stainless steel kitchen, dining room and relaxing lounge. Comfort is key here.
We loved crossing the tiny bridge that leads to the bathing pavilion where you can share  an invigorating outdoor plunge bath (in cooler months it heats up to become a relaxing hot tub). Cape Tribulation beach is close by and, for a real treat, visit the nearby Daintree Ice Cream Company and feast upon their flavoursome delights.
