Why fantasise about your ideal tropical holiday, when you can live the reality at Cape Tribulation Orchard Farmstay' The property is set amid the World Heritage-listed Daintree rainforest and guests at this outstanding B&B have 40 hectares of flourishing orchards to explore and fresh exotic fruits such as mangosteens, rambutans and breadfruit when in season to feast on. It's all a world away from tossing Granny Smiths into a wonky-wheeled trolley at the local supermarket.
Each of the cabins is private and comfortingly based on simple, eco-friendly designs. All are solar powered, have their own ensuite bathroom and a large private verandah with breathtaking mountain views. Sun lovers will relish the pristine white sand of the beach (the sea kayaking is sensational) and bird watchers should prepare themselves for a treat.
Here you are close to the heart of Cape Tribulation, with its galleries, restaurants and  adventure tours such as crocodile cruises and reef fishing. In the evening, immerse yourself in the true farmstay experience as you relax around the campfire with friends and family and swap stories of your tropical adventures.
