Once you enter the immaculate grounds of Ruffles Lodge, a completely indulgent experience begins. Hosts John and Jan have created an elegant and luxurious escape with the emphasis on fine food and hospitality, modelled on the great lodges of New Zealand.
This retreat is all about outstanding cuisine and Ruffles has built a reputation on it. Aperitifs and hors d'oeuvres lead in to a dinner party style meal at which guests are enticed by the chef's exquisite creations. Private dining is also available so Ruffles is superb for honeymooners - offering seclusion yet close proximity to the Gold Coast region's attractions and activities, including beaches.
The latest additions at Ruffles Lodge are three Treehouse Villas, each with their own plunge pool. Naturally, all suites are spacious and private, all have spectacular views and the new day spa offers pampering  without having to leave the Lodge. Business travellers and executive meetings are well catered for, with private phones and high-speed data ports for laptops.
