With a wave of their very creative wand, the owners have transformed it from a 1960s home into a stunning tropical retreat.
Here the living spaces flow out to terraces that lead to elevated gardens, which eventually reach a tropical pool that basks in a green sea of carefully planted foliage. There are bubbling water features to cool and calm the tired soul and a thrilling palette of tropical colours to quicken the life pulse. No surprises, then, that this architectural and horticultural tour de force has captured the attention of designers and TV producers.
Guests can have the whole house to themselves or just take a bedroom with breakfast.  Sleeping quarters are spacious and glamorously appointed, featuring indoor/outdoor bathrooms with a soaking tub or shower. Tropical breezes waft softly over your skin at meal times or while you lounge by the pool after a few hours spent exploring the Great Barrier Reef or nearby rainforest.
