The name alone suggests carefree, youthful days – the air filled with sea breezes, birdsong and the soft sounds of world music coming from the stereo. Woodstock is an idyllic blend of karri timber architecture and contemporary furnishings in an earthy bushland setting. This is a house with soul, perfectly in tune with its natural surrounds.We loved Woodstock's warm ambience, wide decks and spacious second-floor lounge (with a crackling wood fire, of course) and distant sea views. The rooms are light-filled and open. It is so easy to imagine the tribe relaxing into holidays filled with cheerful chatter over long lunches here. The downstairs games room will delight the kids. Woodstock has three bathrooms and three bedrooms (seven can sleep here) with beds dressed in fresh linens.
Whether you like swimming, fishing or beachcombing there is a beach to suit only minutes away. The Bibbulmun Track is close to Woodstock and Denmark township is 10 minutes by car. Visit the food co-op for organic goodies or relax with a chai latte and let the country air rejuvenate your spirit. There is no doubt the fond memories of Woodstock will be remembered for years.
