The repeat visitors list for Whitsunday Moorings Bed and Breakfast is long enough to form its own club. Their shared interests would include a love of matchless Coral Sea panoramas and an addictive desire to gaze at that view while breakfasting on one of the best tropical meals we have seen. Add to that great coffee and morning papers, and it’s a club we are happy to join.The two Moorings apartments look out over a gorgeous garden terrace and colonnaded pool to the Abel Point Marina. There is nothing pretentious about these eminently comfortable, well appointed units. They have an authentic North Queensland ambience with cane furniture and fittings, tiled floors and a real indoors-outdoors lifestyle. Hosts Peter and Glenn are renowned for their generosity, which extends from big cakes of bath soap to those silver-service breakfasts of homemade jams, free-range eggs, slathers of bacon and plenty of seasonal fruits.
Airlie Beach is a focal point for tourists to the fabled Whitsundays. All the main tours run from here and there are plenty of places for shopping, pampering and eating.

Two studio suites (queen bed, double sofa bed, kitchenette, ensuite) and one double suite, all with patio, AC, TV (two with Austar). Laundry, pool, guest computer, WiFi. Daily servicing, tour bookings. Full breakfast served.
