This multi award-winning property combines a daring contemporary architectural design with a setting of absolutely pristine splendour on a slither of private land within Yuraygir National Park near Yamba. Unspoilt Sandon Beach is nearby and your only neighbours are the local kangaroos and emus who come out to feed in the evenings. Artists, poets, romantics and stressed executives: pack your bags and prepare for paradise.
The design and build quality of Toumbaal is sensational and it would make a brilliant setting for a small wedding. It comprises two pavilions – one for the three bedrooms; the other for the kitchen-lounge-dining – which are linked by a grassy inner courtyard that features a stunning fireplace. You can slide open the walls to link the interior to the outdoors, providing a magnificent sense of space and light. The views are incredible, particularly while you soak at sunset in the double-ended pedestal tub with a bottle of bubbly on ice beside you.
Yuraygir is NSW’s largest coastal national park and has walks through beach and hinterland terrains. Sandon Beach has wonderful swimming and paddling places.
