The Moorings at Metung is all about location, location, location. In Metung that means waterfront and the Moorings is right in the heart of this charming village, complete with breathtaking views across stunning Bancroft Bay. Everything from cafes, restaurants and the local pub are within walking distance along the lakeside boardwalk.If travelling with friends or family, choose one of the apartments that features a private deck or verandah seemingly perched over the boats moored below.
If you snaffle the main bedroom in the three-bedroom apartments, you can watch the sun rise over the water from your bed. Even the motel-style rooms, which are perfect for a one- or two-night stay, have water views, as do the two-storey townhouses. Add contemporary interiors, larger-than-average accommodation options and it is easy to spend a week or more relaxing at this enchanting spot.
Have a hit of tennis, swim in the indoor or outdoor pool, fire up the lakefront barbecue and enjoy a wine or two on your private verandah – the choice is yours.
