Home to so many of Melbourne’s great bars and restaurants, St Kilda is the perfect home for this chic hotel, providing a great base for visitors. The famous beach and surrounding bayside suburbs draw people from near and far.
One step inside The Prince Hotel and you know you are in for a special experience. This iconic Melbourne hotel was first renovated in 1999 with little change to the Art Deco façade. But a complete revamp to the intertior now sees The Prince offering a spa, bars, restaurant, band room, indoor pool and 40 contemporary rooms. No two rooms are the same.
This hotel has all the touches of class that reflect the owners’ ability to keep ahead of trends. The rooms (of which many regulars have their favourites) are contemporary and minimal but still offer warmth and comfort. The artworks, lithographs, photographs and paintings are by local artists, and the beautiful bathroom products are produced by Aurora Spa Retreat, also located within the property.
There are three types of rooms – the Deluxe, Superior and Premier Suites. If you’re feeling ready to leave your room, then head for Circa Restaurant and Bar where you can enjoy the beautiful casual bar and balcony or dine in the restaurant. This is great food with a focus on fresh, locally sourced and quality produce.
