Stunning view with rooms

Boat Harbour looks like something a beach holiday theme park designer invented for their showroom. A gorgeous little bay has been nibbled into the sandstone ramparts that face the Pacific. At the head of the bay is one of the prettiest, most quiet beaches we know - and that is where The Outlook on the Beach gets its name. It is just 20 metres to the sand and rock pools from your front door. Families with young kids love this place because of the safe waters and easy amble back to get sandwiches or another bottle of water.

The apartment is tailor-made for holidaying families or a bunch of friends away together. There are three queen bedrooms, a couple of bathrooms (always handy for extra showers), and climate control air-conditioning. From the lounge and expansive deck, you look straight down to the beach below, which is an ideal vantage point for firing up the barbecue and uncorking a bottle of sparkles. The kitchen has granite benches and all you need for slapping together summer smorgasbords.

Nelson Bay is just a few minutes' drive away for shopping, restaurants, cafes and more. There are dolphin and whale-watching tours in season.
