There is a legend that the buccaneer explorer William Dampier buried a treasure of pirated pieces-of-eight at Buccaneer Rock in Roebuck Bay. The beauty of the location would not have escaped Dampier but these days the treasure trove is the resort that overlooks this turquoise bay.The Mangrove Resort Hotel not only has a romantic pedigree but a magical backdrop. Next to the setting, the convenient location is what guests comment on most (the galleries and pearl boutiques of Chinatown are just a walk away). Then there is the fact that the resort offers a complete experience including a bar and two restaurants as well as function rooms. There are a range of room styles including well-appointed
