The approach down a gently winding drive sets the scene for the sublime experience of staying at The Coombe. This architect-designed jewel resonates with calmness and light in its grove of tall karri trees, framed by fine waterfront views of Wilson Inlet. The Coombe is only available as a whole house, leaving guests to enjoy the property all by themselves.The Coombe celebrates the majesty of its location and was inspired by the hexagonal Usonian designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. The built structure is made of rammed earth, glass and timber and fits with graceful harmony into its pristine surrounds. There are two bedrooms (each with its own ensuite) and an open-plan
lounge and dining with a wall of glass to showcase the forest and water views. A spacious deck offers an ideal vantage point over breakfast or drinks at sunset to admire the prolific bird life.
Denmark is a perfect base for exploring the riches of the region. Close by are the beautiful Elephant Rocks and Greens Pools and to the west is the Valley of the Giants and the Tree Top Walk. To the east is Albany and the region is dotted with wildflowers, wineries, galleries and whale watching opportunities.
