The chic neighbourhood is the ideal base, within a short walk to shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. The property’s proximity to the beach and the greenery of Albert Park – home to Melbourne’s Grand Prix – is another big drawcard.
After entering via a coded system, guests will discover interesting furnishings, such as vibrant contemporary art. Above the open fireplace, there is an article about the colourful life of Ernest Leonard Sweeny – the property’s namesake, who is also the owner’s great grandfather.
Downstairs is a luxurious open-plan living area with timber floors, a gas fireplace and state-of-the-art technology. The kitchen and dining area opens onto a secluded courtyard garden, surrounded with magnolia trees – the perfect spot on a balmy night.
