These delightful hideaways may be huts in a dictionary sense, but they are also huts in the same way the palace of Versailles was the Sun King’s ‘country cottage’. But here, Sejala Beach Huts are much more fun and affordable.What you get is a tropical garden setting with a funky self-contained pad that opens to unite inside with the garden and beach beyond. The colourful interiors have taken inspiration from the lush tropical landscape, while the waves washing onto the shore provide calming sounds in the background. In addition to the shutters and overhead fans, air-conditioning is available to aid an afternoon nap. And among Sejala’s stylish inclusions are Egyptian cotton bed linen, L’Occitane toiletries and beach towels, which all add to the indulgent setting.
Each hut opens onto a verandah offering a barbecue, dining setting and the alluring temptation of deck chairs and hammock. You can choose to self-cater, perhaps with the barbecue or with a pre-arranged seafood platter. All this is just seconds from a glorious beach, a few minutes by bike or on foot from shops and cafes, and hardly any time at all to as much outdoor adventure as you desire.
