Seahaven is a gorgeous village-type collection of architect-designed cottages and villas ranging from studios to four-bedroom cottages When the renowned local architect David Littleton also happens to be the owner, you know you are in for something special.Attention to detail here is fantastic, with a slightly nautical and nostalgic design sensibility overlaid with a Scandinavian feel, all bound together by the highest of eco credentials.
Whichever option you choose, all are self-contained with a bright and airy feel. Our favourites are the upstairs apartments with their vaulted ceilings, interesting angles, wood fires and big outdoor decks.
Others have inviting window seats to soak up the sun, private garden terraces or padded outdoor benches on which to lounge.
Barwon Heads itself is full of funky shops and cafes, that famous bridge, and the beach and inlet offering watery fun. To make the most of your seaside holiday, borrow a range of sports equipment from Seahaven Village, book an in-room massage, borrow a book or DVD from the library, or David can book you into a range of tours and activities in the area.
