Prepare to be treated to the best of both worlds – log cabin style in a coastal location – with a stay at Sandpiper. A beautiful cottage in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula, Sandpiper makes a dreamy setting for a romantic getaway or a beach escape for a small family.

You could easily hole up in Sandpiper for the duration of your stay and never leave. Everything that you could need or want is here. A beautiful contemporary kitchen that’s flooded with natural light is spot-on for whipping up dishes for a candlelit dinner, and the lounge boasts a comfy armchair and sofa perfect for curling up on when you’re in the mood for a night in. Make sure to stoke the wood-burning fire (logs are provided) to up the romantic feels. When you do decide it’s time for a dose of fresh air, make your way out the French doors and onto the cottage’s sheltered patio area.

The cottage is located on a property with two other stays – Shell Croft and Shearwater – and is only 250 metres from Rye front beach. This stretch of sand has shallow waters and gentle tides, so is perfect for families, windsurfing and long walks with your dog. Sandpiper is also within walking distance to Rye’s main street and its laid-back eateries, award-winning restaurants and bars.
