Salitage Estate is Pemberton's flagship winery and one of Western Australia's most notable. Set within a forest overlooking this stunning estate are four luxury cottages that offer a superlative experience to match the quality of the wines for which Salitage is rightly famous.Each cottage is lightly placed within a forest of tall trees and carefully tended gardens that blend into the natural bush. The tranquillity is profound: streams flow past each cottage, catching the soft morning light. At night this arboretum is floodlit to magical effect. Every detail is impressive, from the manicured grounds
to the design of the cottages. Each cottage has two master bedrooms with their own ensuites and a wood fire in the central lounge, which looks out over the forest and estate beyond. Much of the furniture in these superb rooms was handmade by artisans using timber from the property, adding a sublimely elegant ambience.
A special pleasure for guests is the inevitable invitation to enjoy a personal winery tour and tasting. Novices, wine enthusiasts and experts relish this chance, which is tailored to your level of knowledge. Our advice? Don't miss the Salitage experience.
