Rose Eden House
Goolwa
Review by Beautiful Accommodation
Rose Eden House dates from 1876, when it was called home by the local headmaster. Successive school heads passed their terms here until it was sold into private hands and thus to Ian and Therisa Cross. They saw the historic beauty and potential of this gorgeous home and saved it from developers. Thank goodness.Rose Eden is a star in historic Goolwa's heritage crown, the product of four years' laborious restoration and ingenious resurrection by Ian and Therisa and their son. The result is a triumph, which guests rightfully adore. It is located just steps from the local cafes, galleries and dining and offers guests four superbly presented self-contained apartments with every conceivable comfort.
The four apartments have identical layouts offset by subtle variations in their interior decorations. A lounge with a gas fire and deep comfy sofas leads to a king bedroom (one with a four-poster bed) and then to a truly stunning bathroom with double spa. A full kitchen completes the picture. The restoration is meticulous and the level of luxury is outstanding, a wonderful addition to Goolwa's heritage pedigree.
Facilities
Four apartments, each with lounge (gas coal fire, plasma TV, DVD, movies and books), king bedroom, bathroom (double spa), full kitchen, Internet, ducted AC. Solar-heated pool, BBQ. Full breakfast provisions provided.

Rose Eden is beautiful and well worth every cent spent to stay there. No expense has been spared with the delightful and tasteful refurbishment. Every thing has been thought of and Ian and Terry are delightful hosts. We were in awe of this place the minute
we open the gate and we managed to feel great for the entire length of our stay. Well worth the trip from Brisbane to relax.
